Mariela Dreyfus (Lima, 1960) studied literature at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and Columbia (United States, New York), a doctorate Latin American Literature. He has published poems Electra Memories (1984), Placer ghost (1993; Poetry Prize Peruvian-Japanese Association, 1992), Onyx (2001) and Fish (2005). She is the author of the study also sovereignty and transgression: César Moro (forthcoming). Founder and Kloaka dissident movement (1982-1984). His work has been included in important anthologies as American Poetry XXI century: the shift and the transition (FCE, Mexico, 1997), Peruvian Poetry century (Cope Ediciones, Lima, 1999), Poésie Péruvienne du XXe Siecle (Patiño, Genève, 2000), Yellow Silk II. International Erotic Stories and Poems (Grand Central Publishing, California, 2000), Poetry Peruvian / 50 twentieth century poets (Peisa, Lima, 2001), Women facing south. South American poets in USA (Torremozas, Madrid, 2004) and contemporary poets (Heloise Cartonera, Buenos Aires, 2004). His translations of American poets Allen Ginsberg, Edward Dorn, Sylvia Plath, Diane Wakoski and AI, were included in the sample volume contemporary American poetry (INC, Lima, 1987) as well as in magazines Abysinnia: Journal poetry and poetic (Buenos Aires) and Pelican (Lima). Volume has also led The Goddess of the Americas. Writings on the Virgin of Guadalupe (Random House, New York, 2000), compiled by the prominent Chicana writer Ana Castillo. Collaborates regularly with critical essays and reviews in magazines Review: Arts and Literatures of the Americas (New York) and Martin. Journal of Arts and Letters (Lima).
